| | High School |  | The High school (Grades 7 through 12) students are guided to become serious scholars capable of effective communication, independent thought and original expression. Our graduates are people who have learned to view all others as children of God and that we are indeed responsible not only for ourselves but for each other. They will take their places in churches, in civil communities and as citizens of a global community striving to create a world of peace and justice.
Students are required to take a minimum of six courses per semester.
Students are required to complete 100 hours of community service.

| | | The Honors/AP Program | | | The Honors/AP Program (Grades 10 through 12) leads to the designation of Honors Graduate. Students who are highly motivated and academically gifted enroll in this program. Classes are challenging at the Advanced Placement and Honors levels. The Advanced Placement (AP) courses taught at Saint Francis Shool are: English Literature and Composition, English Language and Composition, U.S. History, Government and Politics: U.S., Spanish Language and Composition, Calculus AB, and Biology.
| | | The College Prep Program | | | The College Prep Program (Grades 7 through 12) students take courses which will prepare them for the rigorous curriculum of colleges and universities in Hawaii and abroad.
| | | ESL | | | ESL English as a Second Language, is a program of study for non-native English speakers. Immersion into an English-speaking environment and progression toward English proficiency are priorities. For more information, contact the Admissions Office.
| | | World Languages | | | Saint Francis School offers the study of four languages: American Sign Language, Chinese, Japanese and Spanish. The study of the Korean language, sponsored by the Korean Catholic Community, is offered on the campus on Saturday mornings.
The Study of Spanish is offered Kindergarten to Graduation. At the kindergarten level, children are introduced to the Spanish Language and will continue to develop their mastery of Spanish throughout the elementary school. At the high school level, those who become proficient in speaking, writing and understanding Spanish may choose to complete their study at the Advanced Placement (AP) level of Spanish.
